Part of our mission to teach the word of God is in providing past messages and series to help you grow and respond to God in obedience in all areas of life.
Our purpose at Berean Baptist Church can be found in the Great Commission:
Matthew 22:37–39 (NASB95): And He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ “This is the great and foremost commandment. “The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 28:19–20 (NASB95): “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Our mission is to teach the word and on that foundation, cultivate love expressed to God in obedience, and in service to the church, and to the world.
If our beliefs are to be believable, there must be behavior that issues from our beliefs. The church finds its mission as it listens to the Word of God. It finds its purpose as it lives out and displays the Word of God. What does the Word say, what does it mean by what it says, and how does that apply to me?
